A recipe stays inside the brand you pick here. Angelus bottles are never mixed with KixKote bottles.

About the colors

Where the HEX values come from

Angelus Standard HEX values are the ones already sampled for this shelf. Collector Edition, Glitterlites, and the 5600K metallic row were sampled from the Angelus chart PDFs. Angelus neon HEX values come from the leather photos, and every KixKote HEX is sampled from that color’s swatch photo.

The two lighting columns

The 3200K column is measured on the Angelus metallic chart, and estimated with a Bradford warm-light shift for every other color. Use the Lighting toggle in Options to preview the whole shelf under warm light.

What the mixer is and is not

The mixer uses Kubelka-Munk reflectance inside one brand at a time, so it is a studio guide rather than a weighed factory formula. Angelus and KixKote are never mixed together. Always mix a small test batch and dry it on scrap leather before committing to a pair.

Finishes that cannot be mixed

Glitterlites, Green Glow, and ChromeFlex are finishes, not mix bases. They are listed on the shelf and suggested as effect coats, but the mixer leaves them out of recipes.
